A Woman of God vs. A Daughter of God
A couple of weeks ago, I was driving, and this message came to be by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit clearly said to me, “Daughter, there is a distinct difference between being a Woman of God and a Daughter of God. The same goes for a Man of God vs. a Son of God”. I meditated on that and began to ask the Holy Spirit questions. For me, when I hear the words “Woman of God”, I think of a woman who is strong, powerful, roaring, and ready to tackle the world. It makes me feel like I must operate in faith and do all these great things for the Kingdom of God. When I hear the words “Daughter of God,” I think of a vulnerable little girl, in need of her Father, who needs love, healing, and a place of rest. This revelation was so powerful to me and since then I have shared this message with so many people and it inspired them so much.
There are times when I need to be a “Daughter of God” and just be. Be vulnerable, be needy, be still, be silent, and be in his presence. As Women and Men of God, we all need that. We all need to know that it is okay to be in that state. Sometimes we fall into the trap of feeling like we must be on the go 24/7 to justify our worth and purpose. Remember, Jesus made time to spend with the Father daily. He often stole away from the crowd, from performing miracles, signs, and wonders to be rejuvenated and ministered to by the Father. Read Luke 5:16.
I just wanted to take out time to share this with you. It blessed me and I hope it blesses you too!
