Licensed Therapist, LCSW
The Founder, Mrs. Torres has been a Social Worker since 2006 and a Licensed Therapist since 2013. To become a LCSW you must obtain a Bachelors Degree, a Master's Degree in Social Work, obtain 3,000 hours of training, 100 hours of supervision, and pass a state Licensing Exam. Will there be an exam that I have to take?
After each Module you will take a test to test your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities! You have to score 80% our higher!
Are their refunds available?
You will have the option to request a refund no more than 7 days after signing up. Send us a support ticket to let us know!
Will this program count towards ICF certification if I desire to apply for that!
Yes, the pre-recorded material can count towards certification and any live training will have will count towards your certification. Keep in mind that you do not have to go through them to practice as a Life Coach. EmPowered Purpose Academy is accredited under Formiddable Coaching Institute.
What happens after I make my first payment?
You will automatically have access to the material online. Be sure to check your spam folder for login details! If you choose a payment plan, it will come out automatically at the next date it is due. If you are on a payment plan, you will gain access to the models as you make payments.
Do I have to recertify my credentials each year?
After the 6 months, you can pay a small fee to continue to have access to this program.
How long is the program?
The program is for 6 modules. Each module is very detailed with examples and quizzes to test your knowledge, but you can study at your own pace. If you need additional help, you can always submit a support ticket.
How old do I have to be to join and what is the criteria?
At least 18 years old, be teachable, and a Believer of Christ Jesus. We do not support New Age Practices.
Does this program provide one on one coaching or teaching?
No, if you would like one on time to review your goals in detail, additional fees will apply.
When will I recieve my Certification?
You will receive your Certificate after passing all your exams and all payments have been made. If you fail to make your payment, access to the program will be revoked until you are able to complete your next payment. Additional fees will apply if payment is not made within 5 days after the original due date.
If I am a Licensed Therapist or in school to be a Therapist will this program benefit me?
Yes, absolutely! If you are already practicing as a Therapist, you should already have the basic counseling skills, but this program teaches you how to niche down, how to create your program, how to target your audience, how to market, and limitless resources that Mrs. Torres has learned about over the years! Often, as a therapist, we treat a variety of issues, but as a Life Coach this does look different and has to be addressed differently.
Do you offer scholarships or grants?
No, we do not offer grants and scholarships. Investing in what you desire and need is important and you will receive a strong foundation and excellent teachings in this program. We do offfer payment plans.
