In response to Mrs. Torres’s Grief and Faith Workshop was a great presentation. She provided good resources, her presentation was delivered well, and her presentation was well organized. The participants were interactive with questions and connected well with your information and delivery. It was my pleasure to have you present for our NASW Pembroke LPU. I hope you'll join us again for a continuation of your expertise.
Dr. Alice Kay Locklear
Associate Professor at UNCP
I have had the opportunity to attend a Faith and Grief presentation by Mrs. Shakeeta Torres and it was a phenomenal blend of scriptures, expression of her faith, and her clinical training. This training enhanced awareness about the role spirituality has in coping with grief and how it is reflected in the Bible. Although scriptures were integrated, it was beneficial for those who may carry different faith beliefs. Overall, strong and organized presenter. Well worth it!
