Understanding the Different Types of Anxiety
In this module, we will review the different types of anxiety according to the DSM in great detail, such as generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, social phobia, and post-traumatic disorder. We will review anxiety assessments and how our brain and body respond to anxiety on a daily basis.
How to Use CBT and Exposure Therapy
In this module, you will learn in great detail how to use CBT for anxiety. You will understand how triggers, emotions, and behaviors keep anxiety going. You will learn how to use a variety of tools to help decrease your anxiety. CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Exposure Therapy is used to help you to face certain fears.
Coping Skills for Anxiety
In this module, I will teach you a variety of coping skills to help you cope with anxiety related symptoms such as worry, stress, fear, rumination, and perfectionism. I will review a variety of worksheets that you can use to help you get to the root of your thoughts and develop an action plan to decrease your symptoms.
Applying the Word of God
In this module, you will hear about the instructor's testimony about anxiety, teach you scriptural references to anxiety, and prayer strategies to help you to heal and overcome anxiety!
